Synopsis:
A cheerful and action-packed adventure about the importance of friendship and community from a successful author and illustrator duo!

Once there was a river flowing through the forest. The river didn't know it was capable of adventures until a big bear came along. But adventures aren't any fun by yourself, and so enters Froggy, Turtles, Beaver, Racoons, and Duck.

This hilarious picture book and heartfelt message celebrates the joy and fun that's in store when you embark together on a ride of a lifetime.

Our Thoughts:
What a fantastic adventure!
Take a fast river ride with bear and his new friends!
This is the story of a river, a curious bear, and a bunch of very different creatures that take the ride of their lives together!

This lovely little tale that has a deeper message of unity, camaraderie, and coming together to enjoy the ride despite our differences. This was uplifting and heartwarming and one book I wouldn't mind adding to my collection and re-reading regularly to my daughter.

I'm in awe of the watercolor illustrations! The details in the trees and rocks and other plants are amazing and the animals plunging down a river on a log is well done and tons of fun. It's like riding along! You can even track their river path through the forest on the end pages which are in both winter and spring settings so be sure to check out the differences if you get a chance!
