Are you a fan of book to movie adaptations?
I know, I know. The book is almost always better!
For that reason, I try to read the ones that I'm most interested in before the movie releases but sometimes that can be hard to keep track of so here's a handy list!
I've been doing these lists for a few years now and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that not every adaptation we hear rumors about actually makes it to the screen. For that reason, I try to only include films that have release dates but may also include some that are "in the works" in the TBA (to be announced) section!

What Stargirl is being made into a movie?? I loved reading that novel and its sequel!! I look forward to seeing the movie version of Stargirl & am keeping my fingers crossed the movie version is as good as the novel.
ReplyDeleteThere are actually 2 Stargirls coming out in 2020, a film by Disney based on Jerry Spinelli's children's book and another from DC Comics about a teen superheroine! The Jerry Spinelli adaptation was just updated to release on March 13, 2020! And I agree! I hope they do it justice! :)
