Ten Recent Reads That I Have Given 5 Stars
I'm going to cheat a little because the last 8 books I rated with 5 stars are books in a series, the first two series being every book in that series (that's out so far in the case of Throne of Glass).
Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
The Map to Everywhere duology by Carrie Ryan and John Parke Davis
The Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan
I still haven't read the entire book yet (just the extended excerpt) but I loved what I read!
Cogling by Jordan Elizabeth
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
In the Shadows of Blackbirds by Cat Winters
Trigger Warning by Neil Gaiman
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

Nice list!! I've not read Neil Gaiman's novel Trigger Warning, so will have to add it to my list of books I want to read.
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my TTT post for this week:

I recently read that there's going to be a movie or tv series made using short stories from Trigger Warning, Fragile Things, and Smoke and Mirrors! Anyway, it's always a good idea to read some Gaiman! :)
DeleteSo many awesome books on your list, these are ones I have either loved myself or am desperate to read. I LOVED Six of Crows, that book was so good and I am now so excited for the next book. I also love the whole Throne of Glass series, although Crown of Midnight is my favourite book of the series so far it's so good! I am definitely going to be adding some of these to my already endless TBR, so thanks for the awesome recommendations!!! :) Here's my most recent five star reads, if you want to check them out :)
ReplyDeleteCrown of Midnight is my favorite out of the first four books, too! It was just sooo good! I can't wait for Empire of Storms or Crooked Kingdome!
DeleteThank you so much for stopping by my TTT! :)
Six of Crows and the Throne of Glass series are on my TBR! And I loved the Lunar Chronicles!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so good! I still need to finish the Lunar Chronicles but plan on doing so before the year is over (most likely much sooner than that, though!) :)

ReplyDeleteThis is a nice list, most of these I've seen around to good reviews. The Map to Everywhere looks fun and of course the Throne series does too.
ReplyDeleteThe Map to Everywhere was VERY fun! I love adventurous stories like that! :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by, Greg!
I'm so glad that you loved Cinder! It's a great series and I hope that you love the rest of them. And Throne of Glass! I'm always happy to see a Sarah J. Maas book on anybody's list (unless it's a list about bad books). Great list!

I really need to finish the Lunar Chronicles! They are so good! I'd hate to see TOG on anyone's 'bad books' list, too!
