Every Tuesday, The Broke and the Bookish hosts a meme called 'Top Ten Tuesday'
Top Ten Favorite Book Covers Of Books I've Read
I really had to search my Goodreads 'read' list for these and I realized that when I entered most of the books I read before I had a Goodreads into the system, I hadn't known I could choose which edition or cover I had read so most of them are weird ones that I've never seen in person. Therefore my search was a little difficult. With all the beautiful covers that are out these days, my list probably seems pretty boring but these are book covers that I have read and love.

ONE
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
This cover is just seriously so gorgeous!
I'm a lover of trees, ivy, vines, etc so this one just stood out to me.
I really love how this cover tells a story all on it's own and makes you want to read more to find out about the boy on a boat with a tiger.
The covers for the books in this series are all done by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, an extremely talented artist.
FIVE
How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff
Isn't this beautiful?!
I bought this book because of the cover and title when it first came out. I loved the story, too, though.
EIGHT
I just REALLY love Charles Vess' artwork.
NINE
Od Magic by Patricia A. McKillip
All of Patricia A. McKillip's lovely novel covers are by artist Josephine Wall. Every cover is specially made FOR the book and incorporates some of the magic that is within the book itself. I highly recommend reading her fantasy novels. She is one of my favorite authors.
TEN
The Alchemist by Michael Scott
The covers of these books are what drew me to them. Nothing spectacular but this will do for the tenth choice. :)

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful covers! I really the The Alchemist's cover. It's simple but tells so much about what the book would be about just by looking at the design. :)
ReplyDeleteMaggie Stiefvater! I put Shiver on my list too. It's just so simple and gorgeous! Thanks for sharing and for stopping by my blog, too!
