The Sunday Post #64 - Rainy Week

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer
It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things you received, share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead, and more.

It has been a rather uneventful week at home. It rained for 4-5 days straight which was wonderful for my poor yard which had suffered from the drought but not so wonderful for my toddler who basically lives outside (while I'm in the garden, of course). We've been cooped up a little too long and are restless  but I did get a chance to catch up a little around here. My foray into audiobooks is going alright so far. I finished one and started another but I still only seem to fit around an hour in each day.

I've decided to start listening to audiobooks. My sister recommended this to me but I'm having trouble with the names since I can't see how they are spelled!

Have a great week!

  2. Yikes that's a lot of rain! We had a lot of rain a few weeks back and now it's been very dry- all the grass is gonna turn yellow lol. Hope Bear and the Nightingale is good!

    1. I had such a beautiful yard last year but now it's just sand and dead grass. It's finally starting to perk up though thanks to the rain.
Thanks so much for stopping by, Greg! :D

  3. That's a lot of rainy days in one week! It's been pretty sunny where I live (sunny and hot so it's a trade off I suppose). I have been loving listening to audiobooks-- during my commute to work or when I'm cleaning or cooking an easy recipe I don't need to think about.

    1. I'm kicking myself for not getting into audiobooks sooner. It was a little hard to focus on my first audiobook but I'm getting used to it.
Thank you for stopping by! :)

  5. You are reminding of much needed weeding in my little patches of garden space. Much more interesting to be reading...
I love audiobooks, especially for multi-tasking times.

    1. It's a neverending job! I'm in the garden at least 2 hours a day. It's worth all the tomatoes though! :)

  6. I really like that you do a picture book review! That's a feature I've been debating about for a while, reviewing books that my toddler and I enjoyed together. I'll have to check out Pirates in the Library!

    Have a great week!
