2016 Book to Movie Adaptations Master List

I try to read the book before the movie as often as possible but sometimes I'm unaware of the movie until it's too late and then I'm too busy trying to read the book before some new movie comes out. I'm accumulating this list so I can keep track of what adaptations are coming up and maybe stay on top of the list! I'll mostly only list adaptations that I am interested in reading/watching but if there's something you think I would be interested or that YOU are really interested in, let me know in the comments and I will add it!

I will continue to add to and edit this list as time passes and I learn more.

2016 Reading Goals

First of all,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I can't believe we are already in a new year! These past couple of years have flown by!
My baby girl is no longer a baby; now she's a little terror of a toddler who LOVES story time. Other than her growing like a sunflower, not much else has really changed. I'm still trying to get my reading in during the middle of the night, causing me to get even less sleep than I would originally with a baby who never sleeps through the night.

Last year I set my goal to a very small (for me) 25 books and I reached it by... October, I think. I'd LOVE to set that goal to about 30 this year, and I will, but I really don't know if I'll be able to reach that. Last year I had plenty of middle of the night time to read while nursing and this year I hope to actually be getting some flipping sleep. It's probably just wishful thinking, though.

And now for the unrealistic goals and challenges!
(Because there are just too many books that I want to read!)

Disclaimer:
Some of these goals are carried on from last year's goals because I just never got around to them.

Key

2015 End of the Year Survey

The Annual End of Year Book Survey was created by Jamie @ The Perpetual Page Turner

Number of Books I have read:

Before I answer this I have to explain that the number of books I read for myself is less than the number of books listed as read for the year on Goodreads because I counted in quite a few children's picture books that I read to my daughter. I wouldn't bother adding picture books but I've started working my way through the '1001 Books To Read Before You Grow Up' list.
 So,
Goodreads total as of December 27, 2015
