The Sunday Post #66 - Summer Days

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer
It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things you received, share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead, and more.

It's been a pretty normal week around here.
It rains some days. It's hot as heck on others. Humidity levels are horrible. We've been taking dips in the pool on hot days.

The garden is starting to suffer from the heat and the excess rain. It's about time to just let it go until autumn. It's so hard to grow anything during the summer here in Florida. I did have two of my sunflowers bloom, though! :)

  1. How did you like The Bear And The Nightingale? The sequel should be coming out this fall :)
Also, IT was my favorite read for a while when I was a teen. Didn't realize it was actually THAT long :0 it feels different with a printed book.
    Have a great reading week!

  2. I'm interested in seeing what you think about The Bear and The Nightingale. I'm currently on hold for it at the library and I wanted to know what it was like. If I'm not mistaking you listened to it on audiobook too right?

  4. I feel for you with the humidity, it gets humid here too in the summer but nothing like Florida! You'd almost have to have a pool seems like! Or never go outside lol.

Hope A Gathering of Ravens is good. Sounds pretty awesome.

  6. I keep meaning to reread It sometime but everytime I look at the book, I keep thinking "not now." I love long books I just have so many other things to read right now. Hope you really enjoy it. It's one of King's best.
