Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon GOALS

The 'Tackle Your TBR' Read-a-thon is hosted by Wishful Endings and will run from Monday, September 8th to Saturday, September 20th.

As I mentioned in my sign-up post, I have no idea how this read-a-thon will go for me since I've never participated in one that ran for more than a week. I can only hope to reach these goals in my free time between my birthday, upcoming baby shower, and doctor appointments. I'm determined to tackle some of my TBR pile while I still have some quiet free time before this baby girl gets here!

Goals

One definite goal of mine is to read 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' by Roald Dahl out loud to my baby (in utero) on September 13th which just happens to be Roald Dahl Day! I've been saving it for this year because 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the book!  Reading aloud to my baby almost daily is one of my own personal goals but I'm glad that I can read fun interesting stories to her and tackle my own goals at the same time.

I'll also be participating in the 'September is for Sequels' challenge this month so hopefully I can get my hands on 'Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator' and use this read-a-thon to power through some sequels.
Here's my goals page for that which will also loosely tie into my goals for this read-a-thon. (I do have a few stand-alone books to read during this read-a-thon as well.)

I hope to read at least 5 books and at least 1000 pages.
Not a very big goal considering that we have almost 2 weeks but I think this is a moderate amount considering how busy I will be.

A few books from my TBR that I am considering reading:

Re-read:
The Giver by Lois Lowry
(It's been over a decade since the last time I read this and I'd love a refresher before I see the movie adaptation.)

Other Movie Adaptation Reads:
Dark Places by Gillian Flynn
Tiger Eyes by Judy Blume

Others:
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' by Roald Dahl

Sequels:
 Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator by Roald Dahl

When Did You See Her Last? by Lemony Snicket
Between the Spark and the Burn by April Genevieve Tucholke
Frostbite by Richelle Mead

I know that is quite a few books for two weeks but since I'm planning on reading non-stop all month, I don't know what I will have left for these two weeks.
