COYER PROGRESS UPDATE

The COYER Summer Vacation Challenge is hosted by Michelle @ Because Reading and Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My!

Runs from June 18th to September 2nd!

My Sign Up & Goals Post

I've been slacking on actually participating in this challenge. I'm reading books and that's the ultimate goal, and I chime in on the Facebook posts from time to time. but that's about it. I wanted to join in on the COYER BINGO but I didn't read much at all in July. I missed the Twitter parties because I wasn't home. There's probably a lot more that I'm missing out on as well because I just haven't been keeping up with the mini-challenges and stuff.

I have been keeping track of what I've read at least. In my sign up and goals post, I decided that I would try to read 16-20 books in all.

Books Read in June (during COYER)

Books Read in July

Currently Reading

I'm hoping August is my month for COYER. I'm going to try to visit the website more and join in on all the fun. I also hope to read a lot more. I want to focus on horror reads in September and October so August is my month to knock out the majority of my review books and at least some of the books in my TBR pile.

Are you participating in COYER? How are you doing so far?

COYER Summer Vacation Challenge Sign Ups & Goals

The COYER Summer Vacation Challenge is hosted by Michelle @ Because Reading and Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My!

Runs from June 18th to September 2nd!

This year, COYER has it's own website that will be unveiled on June 18th!
coyerchallenge.com

In the past this has been a strictly ebook challenge but this time the rules have been thrown to the wind! That means you can read whatever you want, whether it be ebook, audiobook, or physical book.
I will probably still use this as motivation to read more of the ebooks that are filling up my tablet but I will of course still read physical books as well.

My Goals
Because this is spread out over 2 months, there's really no telling exactly what I will read but it will most likely be books from my monthly TBRs.
 July TBR
August TBR
(will link those when the time comes)

I'm going to give myself a goal of 16-20 books.
I am sure I will be able to surpass that but I don't want to be overly ambitious. I'm not exactly on 'summer vacation' and will still have plenty of responsibilities so I won't be able to read any more than I usually do.

Here are a few books that I think I will be reading sometime within June - August.
This is subject to change when I make my TBR posts.

EBOOKS

PHYSICAL BOOKS

I also hope to spend more time connecting with other book lovers via the Facebook group, instagram, and commenting on any COYER blog posts I see!

Clean Sweep ARC Challenge Sign Up & Goals

This challenge takes place in May and is hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Kristin @ Addicted to Happily Ever After.

Tweet or Instagram using the hashtag
#CleanSweepARC

Twitter Party
Wednesday, May 18th at 7:30pm (EST)

24 Hour ARC Read-a-thon
Saturday, May 21st
#CleanSweepThon
(I will be joining in on this as well!)

I don't get many ARCs but I do have a few that I either need to read or never got around to reading and feel bad about. I know I won't get to all of them this month because I have a bunch of library books that I want to read but I am going to try to read at least 5 of these books! I went ahead and read three of my ARC's in April just because I didn't want to wait until the last minute.

ARCs I NEED TO READ

eARCs
1. The Glass Castle by Trisha White Priebe & Jerry B. Jenkins
2. The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill
3. Skeleton Island by Angie Sage

Physical ARCs
4. Tru & Nelle by G. Neri
5. Riders by Veronica Rossi
6. Red's Planet by Eddie Pittman
7. On Your Marks (Byways #1) by C.J. Milbrandt

I do have a few others from over 6 months ago but I'm a bit more focused on these right now so I probably won't get to the older ones. I will add any new acquisitions if I get any before May!

Additions:
Ok, so I decided to read at least one older arc to help dwindle that pile.

8. The Book of Lost Things by Cynthia Voight

2016 TBR Pile Reading Challenge Sign Up

The 2016 TBR Pile Reading Challenge is hosted by Evie @ Bookish Lifestyle

I'm signing up for this one a little late but when I came across a recent post about the Book Club book of the month and it happened to be a book that's been sitting on my Kindle for 2 years that I definitely planned on reading this year, I knew I had to join the challenge. So far in January and February, I've been reading a lot of ARC's and library books but I had already planned on tackling my TBR pile in March for the Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge. It's just a one month challenge but I know I will be continuing to get to books on my own shelves throughout the year so this year long challenge is perfect!

You can join in at any time before December so if you are interested you can sign up here!

Guidelines:
Any book released in 2015 or earlier.
Any genre, length, or format.
Short stories and novellas count!
Write a review.

On the last Monday of every other month there will be a wrap-up with a linky to share everyone's wrap-ups. (April, June, August, October, December)

The official hashtag is:
#2016TBRPile
