The Sunday Post #25

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer
It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things you received, share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead, and more.

It's been a rough week for me. It's nothing serious but I'm in dire need of a vacation. That's not likely to happen so maybe I just need a mental health moment (or hour). Life can be so overwhelming at times.
Thank goodness for books.

The Charmed Children of Rookskill Castle by Janet Fox
So far, this one is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Slightly spooky with that gothic castle setting.

Around the Blogosphere/Interwebs

Author Owen Sage talks about the start of his 52 Weeks of Self-Discovery journey which was pretty inspiring to me as I'm trying to become more organized with my goals and life in general.

  1. The Charmed children looks so good, that cover is so distinctive. And the Spiderwicks look fun too. Hope the new week is a better one- enjoy the reads. Looking forward to seeing the review of Rookskill!

  2. So sorry life has been rough for you. Maybe a few days downtime like a staycation where you unplug and do nothing will help. *hugs*

    1. That's actually a great idea, Kim! I think being cooped up in the house is getting to me but maybe if I do things a bit differently, it might help! :)

  3. Ah, life can be stressful at times. I hope this week is better for you! I'm going to look into that 52 week challenge you shared. Seems interesting.

  4. Ooo, the Spiderwick series! I remember starting to read those books when I was younger. You need a vacation, or some sort of break, Stacy! =)

Happy reading! Have a fabulous week. :)

    Check out my STS post!

  5. Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit stressed or overwhelmed. Perhaps you can do something special for yourself if you can't take much downtime?

    Take care.

  6. I hope you get some time off! I'm feeling the same at the minute, work is swamped but hopefully a week off beckons in two weeks!

Hope you have a better week!
