August 2017 Wrap Up


August was a pretty good month but I focused less on reading and blogging and more on my family and artistic hobbies. I liked the balance. Sometimes I forget to give myself the freedom to do other things and then this becomes a bit of a chore. Nonetheless, taking any time away from the blog means I need to catch up with reviews, memes, etc. so hopefully I can find that balance in September as well! 
I also attempted to return more comments and visit more blogs this month (though I flopped during this last week) and I hope I can fit more of that in because I miss the community.

June 2017 Wrap Up


I started listening to audiobooks through my library's Overdrive app this month. I find myself with less and less time to read physical books so being able to listen while I clean the house, run errands, etc has been so helpful. I read/listened to a total of 5 books in June! That's not much but better than I did in April or May.

May 2017 Wrap Up


This is going to be a pretty short wrap up since I was unable to access my blog for a few weeks this month (laptop & email issues). I read all month but was unable to finish many books. I started Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon and got about half way, read more of The Falconer but didn't finish that either. I did finish ACOWAR and a graphic novel though. 
I didn't reach my writing goal this month (first time this year) because LitLift decided to stop working and still hasn't been fixed so the majority of my writing is lost and I have no way to get this month's word count. :( 
Anyway, I have so much catching up to do so expect a busy month ahead!

March 2017 Wrap Up


I had every intention of having an amazing reading month but somehow I ended up reading fewer books than I did in February. And I have no good excuse for it either. I did spend more time writing but my word count is nearly the same as it was in February.
I even joined in on the Take Control TBR Challenge and then didn't even really participate because I ended up reading more review books than anything from my shelves. And I'm kind of disappointed in myself for it but it is what it is.

I'm hoping April will be a better month but then again, there's a lot of holidays, birthdays, and my 4 year blogoversary (with giveaways!) in April so there's really no telling how that will turn out.

Anyway, let's get on to the March Wrap Up stats.
